Having started his career in the Consulting Engineering field and then as a Contractor, Neil moved into the field of Project Management in 1988, constructing the likes of Southgate Mall, Embassy Tower and the peripheral works surrounding the Alusaf Hillside Smelter Project.  Founding the company in 1992 (originally as Neil Graham Associates and then GHC Africa), Neil remained at the helm as Managing Director until the transition into ORIGIN Project Management in 2015 where Neil’s role became that of Group CEO.

Neil has completed projects across the African continent, living and working in Botswana, Ghana, Mozambique and Zimbabwe to name a few.  Passionate about Project Management, Neil served initially as a Board Member and eventually as Vice President and President of The Association of Construction Project Managers and was actively involved in the development and adoption of:

MLUNGISI TSHANGELA

Mlungisi began working in 1992 as a construction trainee supervisor, and later working his way up to Contracts Director and shareholder.  Mlungisi was then recruited by Amdev to start his Project Management career working on prestigious projects like Gold Reef City Casino, The Glen Shopping Mall and Golden Horse Casino.  Mlungisi joined DPA in 2002 as a Senior Project Manager working his way up the ranks to become a Director and a shareholder.  Under Mlungisi’s purview projects like the Intercontinental Hotel, Kivu Lake Hotel in Rwanda, Sun Coast Casino and Accra Mall were successfully completed.  Mlungisi co-founded ORIGIN in 2015 and has 30 years of experience in the project and construction management field.

Nicolo “Nicky” Giuricich brings to the Origin team, over 35 years of exceptional experience in the construction and project management industry. Nicky’s career began with the Giuricich Brothers Construction family, a company with a legacy spanning over 80 years. His extensive experience includes the successful delivery and execution of projects across commercial, industrial, retail, and residential sectors, where he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Passionate about the safety and integrity of construction sites, Nicky’s leadership has resulted in several contracts under his leadership winning accolades in the prestigious Master Builders Regional and National Safety Competitions. His mantra, “a safe site is a happy site,” reflects his unwavering dedication to creating safe and efficient environments for his teams and all stakeholders alike for the common good of the Built Environment.

Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the construction industry, Nicky has always placed a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and quality, ensuring that each project he oversees is completed to the highest standards. His expertise is further shared through his role as a part-time lecturer at the University of Pretoria, where he imparts his knowledge to the next generation of construction professionals, ensuring the continued growth and development of the South African building and project management industry, crucial to the growth and re-generation of the country’s economy.

ANDREW PLESCIA

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR & SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – ORIGIN

Andrew began his career in construction in 2011, after graduating in 2010 from the University of Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Construction Management. Initially working for headline contracting firms such as Group Five Building and Liviero Building, Andrew took up various roles including Planner, Junior Estimator, Site Engineer and then Site Manager.

This enabled Andrew to hone his skills in the contracting environment with a specific focus on the buildings sector, and with projects ranging from industrial oil & gas, residential, commercial, institutional, and health. During this time Andrew was exposed to contracting for sector-leading clients such Tansnet, Anglo American, Gauteng Department of Infrastructure and Development and Netcare.

In 2017, Andrew made the move from contracting into project management, working specifically in the downstream fuel retail (with clients ranging among the world’s top oil companies) and leading franchise restaurant sectors. Specialising in multi-site, multi-year rollout projects, this provided Andrew with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in full lifecycle project and contract management as well as close liaison with all project stakeholders, such as investors, end-users, design engineers, and local authorities. During this time, Andrew had the opportunity to work across a multitude of locations within South Africa, including Gauteng, The Western, Eastern and Northern Capes, Mpumalanga and the Free State.

Andrew joined Origin PM in 2023 as a Senior Project Manager, seamlessly taking over major commercial and retail projects, integrating himself into the business and adding a high-level of value shaped from his 15 years of experience in the industry. In 2025 Andrew was promoted to Associate Director, further cementing his petition within the business.
